As long as the device is connected to the power grid, it runs reliably and there are no settings that can be accidentally changed or manipulated. This also applies in the event of a power outage: when the power returns, the dehumidifier resumes its task with unchanged settings.   Thanks to the professional hot gas automatic control, operation in cooler environments is also possible without any issues, although the dehumidifying power, as with all condensation dryers, decreases at low temperatures.
