Whether for quickly reducing high humidity or for reliably drying large-volume rooms – the TTK 355 S is designed precisely for such challenges.
The device owes its impressive performance to the effective combination of a powerful rotary compressor with a high-quality fan that processes air volumes of up to 490 m³/h. This high air circulation allows the optimised heat exchanger system to continuously extract large amounts of moisture from the room air – up to 70 litres per day with just one device.
A particular advantage is the integrated hot gas defrosting automatic system: it prevents dehumidification pauses due to fixed defrosting intervals, as is common with many other devices, and thus ensures consistent and efficient performance – even in cooler operating conditions.
Mobility meets robustness
The TTK 355 S is also perfectly equipped for changing locations and harsh environments. The robust chassis with a practical push handle bar and large rubber wheels makes transport – even over stairs or uneven ground – incredibly easy. The installed rubber wheels are abrasion-resistant and leave no marks on sensitive floor coverings. Thanks to the rotary compressor technology, the TTK 355 S can also be transported in almost any position.
A special protection system for the electronics reliably protects the sensitive components from moisture and dirt – for a long service life even under construction site conditions.

The TTK 355 S also impresses visually: the technology is housed in a functionally designed, resistant casing in the distinctive Trotec industrial design – aesthetically pleasing, protected and practical. Safe operation with high heat and moisture loads
When restoring water damage or similar applications, extreme conditions often prevail: high humidity combined with high temperatures. This places a great strain on refrigeration dryers. The so-called "35 rule" illustrates the problem: If the room temperature is continuously above 35 °C, the lifespan of conventional refrigeration dryers drops dramatically – to less than 35 %.
The cause is the increasing pressure in the refrigerant circuit, which heavily burdens the compressor. Although the devices continue to operate initially, they are operating far beyond their load limit, which can lead to premature failure.
Adsorption dryers are not an economical alternative under such conditions – their energy consumption is significantly higher for comparable dehumidification performance.
Intelligent protection function as standard
Therefore, the TTK-S models are equipped with an intelligent compressor heat protection. Sensors continuously monitor the temperature development in the device. In case of overheating, the compressor switches off automatically, while the fan continues to run. As soon as the system is back in the safe temperature range, the compressor automatically resumes operation.
This protection mechanism not only extends the service life of the device but also protects the materials to be dried and the building structure from heat-related damage.
