It is comparatively quiet and compactly built, ensuring good humidity in dry living rooms, overheated offices, as well as storage rooms and workshops up to 250 m².Functional principleA humidification mat is pulled through the water bath by a wheel and absorbs moisture. This creates a moisture buildup in the device, which is released into the room air by a two-stage adjustable fan. This method is very effective in humidification performance, while particles in the air are captured on the humidification mat and deposited in the water bath. The air humidifier thus also cleans the air of airborne particles such as dust and pollen.serviceThe operation is incredibly simple. The humidifier has only two rotary switches:Operating switch: three-stage - OFF, fan level 1 or fan level 2Hygrostat switch: for stepless regulation of the desired target humidityTwo lights also indicate when the device is in operation and when the water tank is empty.The humidifier has a metal housing (white powder-coated), stands on 4 wheels, and is easy to move.VentilationThe ventilation is two-stage, the maximum air output is 500 m³, the operating noise is good on level 2, and only minimally perceptible on level 1. The three ventilation grilles at the air outlet can be easily adjusted either forward or backward.Consumables and MaintenanceThe water bath (pull-out drawer) serves to provide the necessary moisture on one hand, but on the other hand, it also collects the dirt that is removed from the air. Therefore, it should be completely emptied and cleaned once a week. The humidification wheel is clicked into the holder from above and can be easily removed for cleaning; the degree of contamination and thus the necessity for cleaning is visible from above.As with all evaporative coolers, it is also advisable to disinfect the water in the B400 to prevent germs and bacteria. For this purpose, the silver cubes (Ionic Silver Sticks) are suitable, which are available as consumables from us.
