The Oasis dehumidifiers are among the widely used drying devices that have been successfully employed on construction sites and by private users for many years. The devices have now been revised and adapted to the latest state of technology with the newest environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 and improved efficiency. The Oasis D165 is suitable for basements and rooms up to 90m² and comes standard with a large bucket as well as a direct hose connection.
Although visually very similar, the D165 dehumidifier has been completely revised in various respects compared to its predecessor:

• improved automatic self-defrosting, thus usable down to 5°C (previously: 8°C)
• reinforced front cover with spark guard bowl
• reinforced, load-bearing wheels
The dryer stands on 4 wheels but can also be mounted on a suitable wall bracket available from us if desired. The air intake area is at the back, where a filter cleans the moist air. The filter itself is easy to remove and clean. The dry air is blown out towards the front into the room. The Oasis is therefore ideal for general moisture control in a classic basement environment, for example in new buildings, but also for unattended continuous operation in temperature-controlled archives and on construction sites. For active laundry drying, the blower is rather too weak.
The target humidity is regulated via a stepless hygrostat on the front. Once the set value is reached, the dehumidification operation pauses (the ventilation also stops) until the humidity rises again. The operation continues with the unchanged setting even after a power interruption. The D165 is therefore also suitable for operation with a timer, if you want to run the dryer, for example, only during off-peak hours. Thanks to the pipe evaporators, the D165 extracts water from the air even in low humidity ranges.
The water is collected in the tank pushed in at the back, a float mechanically interrupts operation when full. Alternatively, a hose can be screwed onto the condensate collection tray (with a coupling / 3/4-inch thread), with the hose needing to have a slope towards the drain (no pump integrated in the device).

The dryer can be used thanks to hot gas defrosting over a wide temperature range from +5°C to +32°C, although, as with all condensation dryers, the dehumidifying power decreases in cooler environments. Examples of dehumidification performance and consumption under various (constant) environmental conditions:

Massive improvement regarding environmental compatibility
The GWP (Global Warming Potential - impact on global warming) could be reduced by a factor of 800 (!) from 1430 (R134a) to less than 2 (R290). Furthermore, the D165 requires 10% less electricity while simultaneously increasing dehumidification performance by 14% (at room temperature 20°C, 60% r.H.).
