Description
The user-friendly handheld measuring device is ready for use within seconds of being turned on and reliably captures temperature measurements in the range of -40 °C to +200/280 °C (probe/IR), which are clearly readable on the bright, backlit display even in poorly lit environments.
The integrated infrared sensor measures the surface temperature of materials, especially food, with a response time of less than 500 ms. In addition to the digital temperature display, three indicator LEDs directly signal whether the measured temperature is within the HACCP ranges (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
According to the HACCP guidelines for food, maintaining a temperature range below 4 °C and above 60 °C is crucial to prevent the growth of health-threatening microorganisms. Temperatures between 4 °C and 60 °C can promote germ growth.
"For quick verification of compliance with these temperature limits, the BP5F food thermometer is equipped with three indicator LEDs in addition to the digital display, which visually represent the respective temperature range."
The practical advantages include the combination of infrared and probe thermometer in one device, core temperature measurement from -40 °C to +200 °C (probe) or up to +280 °C (infrared), a 5 mm measurement spot diameter at a distance of 100 mm, a compact design with a retractable core temperature sensor, a robust and washable IP65 construction, a backlit display, an LED quick indicator for HACCP-compliant temperature ranges, compliance with LFGB regulations (§31) and DIN 10955:2004, as well as an optimal price-performance ratio.
