The "Royal 20" is part of the latest series of Dryfix dehumidifiers. In addition to its attractive design, the Royal 20 impresses with a large bucket and economical operation. The display provides information about set values and the currently measured humidity in the room." Setting target moisture: with each button press, the desired target humidity can be set, which is the value that the device should maintain in the room. If the measured humidity in the room is higher, the operation continues. If the humidity is correct, the device pauses, stopping not only the compressor but also the fan. This is an important point regarding energy consumption and distinguishes the "Royal" from many commercially available products on the market. The desired target humidity can be selected in 5% increments within the range of 30 - 80% relative humidity. To protect a room from mold and odors, a value of about 60% is sufficient, so the ideal setting is 55 or 60%. Lower values do not provide any additional benefit unless one is drying laundry or dealing with water damage. Setting mode: There are three drying options available. a) Continuous operation (for laundry/water damage)b) Room monitoring mode, when the humidity should not exceed a certain valuec) Night mode, in which the ventilation is set to low and the lighting is minimized.  Setting Ventilation: By pressing a button, you can choose between strong and weak ventilation. At the weak fan setting, the operation is very quiet, while at the stronger fan setting, the air volume increases, which is especially advantageous in larger rooms. The "Royal20" draws in the humid room air from the back of the device, where it is cleaned by a removable coarse dust filter. The filter can be easily removed and cleaned under water. It does not need to be replaced. The outlet for the dry air is at the top of the device. An internal counter reminds you after every 600 operating hours (= approx. 1 x per month) that the filter should be cleaned and pauses operation until the proper condition of the filter is confirmed by pressing a button (this confirmation is not possible via WLAN). Timer: "With the timer, the operation can either be limited in time from "now" (1-12 hours) or started at a point in time 1-12 hours in the future, for example when one wants to start the operation on the low tariff." Memory function: "If you want to run the device at the same times every day (for example, during the low tariff), you can do this with a standard timer. The 'Royal20' remembers the last setting and returns with unchanged settings after a power interruption." Key Lock: Prevents unauthorized persons (e.g. children) from playing with the device and changing the settings. A compact dehumidifier with adsorption technology. Adsorption is useful where the room air is cold, or where very low humidity levels are to be achieved. The "DS3" is also ideal for quick laundry drying in cool basements..In contrast to condensation dehumidifiers (dehumidifiers with a compressor), dehumidifiers with adsorption technology have an almost constant dehumidification performance even at low temperatures. They require virtually no lead time from startup until effective dehumidification begins. Due to their compressor-free design, these dryers are lightweight at only 7.5 kg. Technologically, the device would even extract water from the air below freezing point; however, the water then freezes in the collection tray, making 0.5°C the limit for use. Even at warmer temperatures, drying with adsorption dryers is straightforward, but the power consumption per liter of water extracted in temperate rooms is higher than that of compressor dehumidifiers (condensation dehumidifiers). The crossover point is around 8-10°C, meaning that below this value, adsorption dryers are more efficient, while above it, condensation dryers are more effective.Once the target humidity is reached, the dehumidification operation stops, while the ventilation continues for a few more minutes until the device has cooled down sufficiently. Subsequently, dehumidification and ventilation pause until the humidity in the room rises above the desired target humidity level again. The ventilation is powerful and can be adjusted in 3 stages. This is particularly advantageous when drying laundry and significantly speeds up the process. With the vertically adjustable air outlet louver, the dry air can also be directed in the desired direction. The wind noise is audible even at the lowest setting, so the DS3 is only partially suitable for very quiet bedrooms.Special function air purification with HEPA filterThe DS3 can also be used as an air purifier. A suitable HEPA filter available from us can be placed in the air intake area. The Dryfix DHP25 dehumidifier is one of the first dehumidifiers in its class to use pioneering components. The new refrigerant R290 used has a GWP of only 3 (global warming potential), whereas previous devices burden the environment with a GWP of around 2000 and higher! Additionally, a high-quality, energy-efficient EC fan has been installed as standard.    The DHP25 is not only appealing from an ecological standpoint, but also due to its robust construction, thanks to a professional interior combined with a strong design exterior. The perfect all-rounder.Operation and FunctionsThe operation is carried out via a simply designed control panel at the top of the device. By pressing a button, the target humidity can be set to either 40%, 50%, or 60%; continuous operation is also possible. The dryer operates whenever the measured room humidity is higher than the selected value. It pauses (the ventilation also stops) when the room humidity is lower than or equal to the setting.   Tank: The condensate tank has a capacity of approximately 5.5 L and features a float that magnetically interrupts operation when full. A hose for direct drainage of the condensate can also be connected.
