The TFA Smarthy turns your smartphone into a hygrometer with a thermometer. It is a handy add-on that simply plugs into your smartphone without any accessories. The Smarthy measures temperature and humidity and displays this on the screen via an app. It also stores the data in the sense of a data logger. The recorded file can be easily forwarded, even with a matching photo.

Furthermore, the Smarthy is capable of recording the data flow in the sense of a data logger. For this purpose, a measurement series for a location is created using the recording function. The evaluation is carried out through extensive chart functions and can be supplemented with photos if necessary. Thus, the progression is documented not only with data but also visually with images.
The sensor of the TFA Smarthys reacts very quickly and is remarkably accurate. Only during rapid temperature changes does it require a short adjustment time, for example, when it comes from a cold car into a warm room.

Photo-Function
The app is designed in such a way that the measurement values can be easily combined with a corresponding photo. This combination of data and image can be saved on the phone if needed, but can also be easily shared via email, Facebook, or Twitter.

Compatible phones
The TFA Smarthy works for phones with a socket starting from iPhone 4, iPad (2nd generation or newer) as well as Android (from version 4.0) directly plugged in. An adapter is required from iPhone 7 onwards.
Important: The plug of this sensor must be fully inserted into the smartphone. If it has a case, the plug may not be able to be inserted all the way to the stop. This results in incorrect (usually too high) values on the display.
