This maintenance-friendly adsorption dehumidifier guarantees high dehumidification rates of several hundred kilograms per day. With its standard stainless steel housing and an electrical control box in IP53 design, it is also corrosion-resistant against adverse operating environments.
"It is ideally suited for many drying tasks or dry air production. Typical applications include a wide range of air and gas dehumidification tasks in industry, logistics, or supply companies, for example, for production and product security or for the preservation of machines, inventory, and buildings through constant protection against corrosion, condensate, or mold formation."
High dry air performance even at low dew point
The TTR series adsorption dehumidifiers take advantage of the vapor pressure difference between the humid air and a hygroscopic sorbent material, which is incorporated into a drying wheel that has an extremely large surface structure. This process ensures high dehumidification performance even at low humidity and low air temperatures.
TTR-Trisorp-Dual-Principle
Two separate air ducts lead process and regeneration air through each fan. The process air to be dehumidified is drawn in with the help of a fan and flows through the dehumidification sector of the continuously rotating drying wheel, where the moisture contained in it is removed by binding in the sorbent. From there, it flows out as dry air.
When flowing through the heating register, the air is heated significantly and can thus reduce its moisture. Subsequently, it passes through the regeneration sector, where it can reabsorb the moisture bound in the silica gel and discharge it outside through the moist air outlet.
Series-integrated heat recovery (HR)
A major advantage of the TTR adsorption dryers is the already integrated heat recovery system as standard. Depending on the ambient conditions, this saves 20 - 50% energy. Thus, the savings at 20° C and 60% relative humidity (i.e., under "normal" room conditions) is about 50%. In principle, the regeneration air is also drawn in with a separate fan and passed through the purge sector. As the drying wheel heats up due to the released adsorption heat and the regeneration heat, the purge sector serves for heat recovery and cooling of the drying wheel. This reduces the required energy input and improves the dehumidification performance, especially at lower dew points.
Wide range of applications
Due to its very high dehumidification performance in continuous operation even at low dew points, this dehumidifier is suitable for a variety of applications, for example:
• Pre-dehumidification of supply air to maintain the trickling and flowability of hygroscopic products in storage, conveying, and dosing systems.
• Process air dehumidification for gas turbines and humidity control in gas distribution stations
• Ice-free maintenance of freezing tunnels and deep-freeze storage
