Extensively equipped adsorption dryer with an immense dehumidification capacity of 55 kg per hour. Optimal for very high dry air demand even in cool environments with low dew points.
"It is suitable, for example, for:"
• for the permanent drying of buildings
• for gas dehumidification or dry air production in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries as well as in mechanical engineering
• to protect machines, inventory, and buildings from corrosion, condensation, or mold formation, for example in water engineering facilities or electrical control centers.
Perfectly in Flow
The high-performance fans are driven by energy-saving EC motors, whose speed can be adjusted independently using the "Duoventic" controller. Thanks to this integrated air volume regulation, you can quickly and appropriately configure the drying unit for any requirement without any conversion measures: extremely dry air with low airflow, larger quantities of dry air, or maximum recirculation performance with a moderate dry air proportion.
Flowmatic S reliably maintains the flow rate at the set point.
The dehumidifier is equipped as standard with a "Flowmatic-S" volumetric flow control system, which automatically detects and compensates for pressure losses based on sensors. The control of the volumetric flow or pressure can be adjusted via a control signal as desired. As soon as it registers deviations, it counteracts them and thus guarantees a consistent maintenance of the specified volumetric flow or pressure. This provides you with a constant flow of dry air in the desired quantity at all times.
High dry air performance even at low dew point
The TTR series adsorption dehumidifiers take advantage of the vapor pressure difference between the humid air and a hygroscopic sorbent material, which is incorporated into a drying wheel that has an extremely large surface structure. This process ensures high dehumidification performance even at low humidity and low air temperatures.
TTR-Trisorp-Dual-Principle
Two separate air ducts lead process and regeneration air through each fan. The process air to be dehumidified is drawn in with the help of a fan and flows through the dehumidification sector of the continuously rotating drying wheel, where the moisture contained in it is removed by binding in the sorbent. From there, it flows out as dry air.
When flowing through the heating register, the air is heated significantly and can thus reduce its moisture. Subsequently, it passes through the regeneration sector, where it can reabsorb the moisture bound in the silica gel and discharge it outside through the moist air outlet.
Series-integrated heat recovery (HR)
A major advantage of the TTR adsorption dryers is the already integrated heat recovery system as standard. Depending on the ambient conditions, this saves 20 - 50% energy. Thus, the savings at 20° C and 60% relative humidity (i.e., under "normal" room conditions) is about 50%. In principle, the regeneration air is also drawn in with a separate fan and passed through the purge sector. As the drying wheel heats up due to the released adsorption heat and the regeneration heat, the purge sector serves for heat recovery and cooling of the drying wheel. This reduces the required energy input and improves the dehumidification performance, especially at lower dew points.
Configurable Air Direction Reversal
A practical detail for stationary industrial use, especially in piped installations, is the configurable air reversal of the TTR units, as in such applications new or additional devices must be able to flexibly integrate into existing processes.
The dehumidifier housing is already factory-prepared for the mirror-inverted assembly of the air guidance, so this device can always be set up with the operating side facing the user, regardless of the process air direction. If desired, the air direction can be optionally adjusted to your individual processes by reversing the module. Blow dry air out on the right and discharge humid air on the left, or vice versa.
Wide range of applications
Due to its very high dehumidification performance in continuous operation even at low dew points, this dehumidifier is suitable for a variety of applications, for example:
• Pre-dehumidification of supply air to maintain the trickling and flowability of hygroscopic products in storage, conveying, and dosing systems.
• Process air dehumidification for gas turbines and humidity control in gas distribution stations
• Ice-free maintenance of freezing tunnels and deep-freeze storage
