In our opinion, the best mobile air conditioner on the market. The slightly higher price is justified for anyone who values appearance, comfort and operating noise.
In principle, the ‘Milo’ is a free-standing air conditioner whose exhaust air is routed through a hose either out of the window or into a neighbouring room. It has a powerful fan with louvres at the top of the housing, which are either fixed in one direction or fan the outflowing cold air vertically using the swing function. Despite a lot of circulating air, the operating noise is quieter than with other devices in this category, although this is still clearly audible as with all mobile air conditioners.
Once the desired temperature has been reached, the appliance interrupts cooling (or heating in heating mode) until the temperature changes again. As with most air conditioners, ventilation is always running in order to circulate the air in the room as effectively as possible. The selectable temperature range is from 16 to 30°C. The timer can be used to limit the operating time between 1 and 24 hours. It is also possible to programme a start time for operation 1-24 hours in the future, so that it switches on automatically 1 hour before you return home or before you go to bed, for example.
The following features distinguish the ‘Milo Plus’ from conventional appliances:
Maintain constant temperature
Basically, it can be chosen whether the device cools or heats. In "Auto" mode, however, a desired constant temperature can also be selected. If the room temperature falls below this, the system operates in heating mode; if it is above, it automatically switches to cooling function. This option is very rare in mobile devices.
WIFI function
"All functions can be conveniently controlled via Wi-Fi through an app. Of course, the device can also be controlled traditionally via a keyboard or with the remote control included in the delivery."
"I feel" function on the remote control
The remote control features the so-called "I-Feel function" like more expensive split units. With this function, the temperature is not measured at the unit, but at the remote control. This means that you should ideally place the remote control close to you, for example on the sofa (the unit must have a line of sight to the remote control), and with that, you have the perfect temperature where you want it.

If necessary, the child lock can be activated to prevent children from changing the settings.
Mold protection "X-FAN" (only on remote control)
'With this function, the ventilation continues for 2 minutes after cooling or dehumidification. This dries the still moist interior of the device and prevents the formation of mold in the device.'

Environmentally friendly refrigerant R290
The green thought is also taken into account: The "Milo Plus" is equipped with the latest refrigerant R290, making it practically climate-neutral. R290 has minimal environmental impact, or in numbers: 600 times less than the predecessor products that were still used until recently. Of course, an air conditioning unit with the latest refrigerant will never be as environmentally friendly as a jump into cold water or unwavering sweating.
