TROTEC Trotec BE52 True-RMS Multimeter
Measuring device for the harshest working environments and all relevant measurement quantities The battery-operated multimeter with integrated flashlight has been specifically designed for safe use in harsh environments. With ten different functions for the most common measurement parameters, this particularly durable current measuring device covers a wide range of applications in the fields of craftsmanship, DIY, hobbies, and automotive. The BE52 can perform measurements of direct and alternating voltage, direct and alternating current, capacitance measurements, frequency/duty cycle measurements, resistance measurements, diode tests, as well as acoustic continuity tests. Especially durable and high-performance True-RMS multimeter The measured values are clearly displayed on the large, backlit LC display. Thanks to the practical hold function, the measurement values remain readable on the display even after the measurement process. During continuity testing, an acoustic signal indicates a short circuit or a closed circuit, allowing for faster progress as you do not need to keep an eye on the display during the measurement. To keep both hands free for measurement work, a foldable stand is integrated on the back of the device. This allows the measuring instrument to be placed in a clearly readable position on flat surfaces. Energy-saving and practical is the automatic device shutdown (Auto-Power-Off) after 15 minutes of inactivity. Evaluation and logging including MultiMeasure mobile app As a true RMS digital multimeter of the latest generation, the BE52 is 100 percent "MultiMeasure Mobile ready" and thus equipped for all requirements of professional measurement data evaluation and documentation. The integrated Bluetooth® interface allows the captured measurement data to be easily and conveniently transferred to a smartphone or tablet, where it can be professionally evaluated or documented using the free MultiMeasure Mobile app (Android and iOS). In reality, however, the current flow is never purely sinusoidal; consumers such as switch-mode power supplies, speed or power controllers, etc. cause disturbances that in turn lead to distorted current waveforms. Since these are no longer purely sinusoidal, they cannot be measured correctly without True-RMS function. True RMS measuring devices can also accurately measure non-sinusoidal signal waveforms and are thus capable of directly determining the true effective value of any alternating quantity. The "True Root Mean Square" (translated: "true quadratic mean calculation") stands for the correct determination and output of the true effective value. MultiMeasure Mobile App – smart measurement data collection and measurement data evaluation The free MultiMeasure Mobile app makes the recorded measurement data even more transparent. Just like the analysis software MultiMeasure Studio Professional 2.0 developed by Trotec, which allows for cross-device management, analysis, and report generation of measurement data on the PC, the free app MultiMeasure Mobile for Android and iOS devices also enables professional measurement data management with a variety of useful features. The handheld measuring device BE52, as well as numerous other measuring devices with Bluetooth® interface, are automatically recognized by the app and can be quickly and easily connected wirelessly to the mobile device. The functionality of the MultiMeasure mobile app goes far beyond the simple display of recorded measurement values. Efficient ventilation is not only crucial for a pleasant working environment, but it is also essential in explosion-prone areas due to occupational safety regulations and legal requirements. By specifically supplying and exhausting air in rooms, health-damaging and explosive substances such as paint and lacquer vapors, welding fumes, dust particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, and water vapor are reliably removed. This fan is specifically designed for high delivery performance in explosion-prone environments with high back pressure, even over long transport routes via interconnected air transport hoses. This makes it the ideal supply fan for ventilation and exhaust in explosion protection zones of class 2, for example during tank cleaning, in port facilities, refineries, shafts, or silos. Even at hose distances of up to 50 meters with several bends, this powerful radial fan guarantees a high air volume. Unlike axial fans, it moves the air perpendicular to the impeller axis based on the principle of a centrifuge, where the air is pushed outward and compressed in a spiral-shaped housing. The radial fan manufactured according to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU is integrated into a robust, powder-coated steel housing with a highly durable two-component coating, making it extremely resistant to aggressive environmental conditions.
