The new Secotec 1400 dryer from Lübra impresses with its sleek design, economical operation, and solid craftsmanship made in Switzerland.
Similar to the more affordable Dryfix Swiss, the Secotec 1400 features a more powerful blower, which is particularly advantageous for even drying on long drying lines over 4m in length. The drying capacity is 1.70 kg per hour, which corresponds to approximately 3-4 loads of laundry per day in slightly temperate rooms. Therefore, the Secotec 1400 is ideal for use in single-family homes or as a supplement to a tumbler in multi-family houses.
The humid room air is drawn in from the right side, while the dry air is blown into the room from the front in the upper area of the housing. For drying laundry, the Secotec1400 is ideally hung if the top edge is mounted no higher than 1.70m and can blow along the lines.
The housing is made of high-quality, powder-coated metal (white RAL 9003). On the right side, a dust filter is inserted, which cleans the drawn-in room air of dirt. This filter consists of a plastic frame and a high-density nylon mesh. It can be easily removed from the front for cleaning. Immediately behind the filter is the water drainage channel for the condensate, which is thus accessible for cleaning without tools.
Easy operation with the Lübra control•
Function switch: here you can choose whether the device should only dry the laundry and then automatically turn off, or whether it should maintain the room at a constant target humidity. In this mode, the dryer runs whenever the room humidity is higher than the set desired humidity; otherwise, dehumidification and the fan pause.

Hygrostat-Rad: Rotary switch, with which the desired target humidity can be easily adjusted.

Start button: If no changes are to be made to the settings, operation can be started (or stopped) simply by pressing the start button. This is an easily understandable solution, especially in drying rooms for multiple parties. A Plexiglas cover is also available upon request, which prevents access to the function dial and hygrometer, so that the settings cannot be changed.
Ambient temperatureTechnically, the Secotec dryers can be used down to 5°C. Please note that the drying time for all room air dryers increases significantly the colder the room is. For optimal drying speed, temperatures of 15°C and above are ideal. The declared drying performance was measured at a room temperature of 20°C.
mounting on the wall
The installation is as simple as with all tumble dryers: a mounting rail is anchored to the wall with 2 screws, and the device can then be hung up. All necessary mounting materials such as screws / dowels and a 1m hose are included in the delivery. Both the support rail and the two buffers supporting the device against the wall at the bottom are rubber insulated to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the wall. Due to the high dehumidification performance, we recommend draining the condensate directly into the drain with the hose (suitable hose: 16mm inner diameter). If you wish to use a bucket, please ensure that it has sufficient capacity (min. 8 liters) to avoid overflow during the drying process.
