Ceiling telescopes for ceiling-mounted laundry line systems   "With the ceiling telescopes, you can hang the connecting rails of your laundry line system at the appropriate height from the ceiling. The Dryfix and Krüger connecting rails are compatible with these supports."   The ceiling telescopes are made of chrome-plated metal (longest version: galvanized) and offer solid stability and load capacity of the system. Depending on the room height and the desired height of the lines, 4 versions are available. The telescopes can be precisely adjusted in height within the dimensions described below, with the height not being changeable after installation: Length 1: adjustable 230-330mm from ceiling Fr. 34.00Length 2: adjustable 400-600mm from ceiling Fr. 36.00Length 3: adjustable 550-800mm from ceiling Fr. 39.00Length 4: adjustable 750-1050mm from ceiling Fr. 58.00   Example: the room is 2.30m high, the curtains should be at the standard height of 1.85m. You need a distance of 45 cm from the ceiling. The suitable telescope in this example is therefore length 2.   Please note that mounting directly onto the concrete ceiling provides the best stability. If the ceiling is insulated, we recommend cutting out the insulation for stability reasons, mounting the beams directly onto the concrete, and then sealing the cutouts afterwards. When mounting on the insulation, it may break due to the strong tension of the cables.   It should also be noted that there are often pipes installed in the ceiling. A drilling depth of more than 3cm can damage electrical or water lines.   How many ceiling mounts are needed?Due to the strong cable pull, we recommend you use 2 pieces with a rail width of 1.50 m (per connecting rail) for longer rails 3 pieces (per connecting rail).

  • Dryfix-AC38-Hygrostatstecker

    Dryfix Dryfix AC38 Hygrostat Plug

    648 in stock

Digital Socket Hygrostat Dryfix AC38The hygrostat plug was specifically developed for the control of dehumidifiers. It can be used with all dryers that resume operation after a power interruption with unchanged settings. The operation is very simple and intuitive:The plug is inserted into any household socket in the room, and the dryer is connected to the hygrostat plug. By pressing a button, the desired target humidity can now be set, which is the humidity level that the room should be maintained at. If the measured humidity is higher, the Aircontrol AC38 supplies power to the drying device; if the humidity is correct, the power is interrupted.Unlike conventional plugs of this type, the Dryfix Aircontrol not only focuses on purely moisture-based monitoring but also takes into account the technical aspects of a dehumidifier. This significantly saves electricity and protects the connected device from damage, for example, in case of too low ambient temperature or due to too rapid reactivation. Although most dehumidifiers already come with a built-in hygrostat (humidity meter), the Aircontrol AC38 still has advantages:• The measurement point for the room humidity is at the plug itself. Especially in larger rooms, the air is drier immediately near the device than in more distant areas of the room. If the plug is inserted a little away from the device, it ensures that the humidity is correct throughout the entire room.• If the dehumidifier is used for humidity control in two adjacent rooms, the device can be placed in one room and controlled with an extension cord from the second room, where the hygrometer plug is located. This ensures that the dryer runs until the humidity in the second room is also acceptable.• Power-saving function No. 1: When a dehumidifier turns off after reaching the target humidity, there is still residual moisture inside from the previous operation. This moisture accumulates in the housing and affects the measuring sensor inside to a certain extent. This means that the device restarts too quickly because the sensor itself measures the correct value, but is located in the wrong environment (inside the housing instead of in the room). Especially in digitally controlled devices (with a display), the sensors are usually placed directly on the cooling element, which is unfavorable. In mechanically controlled devices (with a dial for humidity control), the distortion is less, but still present. With the hygrostat plug, the room humidity is measured not in the device, but in the room. The value measured there is therefore more precise than when measured in the device. This saves electricity because the dryer switches on less frequently.• Power-saving function No. 2: a huge plus of the Aircontol38! When a dehumidifier starts to work, the compressor pumps refrigerant through the cooling pipes to make them cold, thus allowing the air to condense (=dehumidified). However, this process takes a few minutes until the cooling element reaches its optimal operating temperature and thus its effect. This also means that the dehumidifier consumes full power during this time but has not yet dehumidified. Most dehumidifiers therefore have a switching tolerance between the achieved target humidity and the subsequent reactivation of about 3-5%. For the aforementioned reason, it is more efficient to reduce by 5% at once than to constantly switch on and off at 1%. The lifespan of the compressor is also improved when the dryer has to switch on less frequently. Commercially available hygrometer plugs usually operate in a narrow, thus uneconomical switching mode of 1%. However, the Dryfix Aircontol38 adopts this switching tolerance of 3% and only switches back on when the measured humidity value has increased by 3%.Temperature protection: The second big advantage! Most dehumidifiers are suitable for ambient temperatures of 4-5°C to about 32-35°C. If the room gets too cold, an ice layer forms on the cooling element, which the dehumidifier can no longer defrost. As a result, an ice layer can grow, which can damage the device. The Aircontol 38, unlike conventional plugs, has a temperature protection feature that interrupts the power to the dehumidifier as soon as the room temperature is too cold for operation, falling to 4°C or colder. The entered values are automatically saved and remain valid after a power interruption. A backup battery is therefore not required for this model. How do I know if my dehumidifier is suitable? The Aircontol 38 can be used with all dryers that resume operation after a power interruption with unchanged settings, so generally for all dehumidifiers that are regulated with a rotary knob. It is not suitable for devices that go into "standby" mode after a power interruption. These are some electronically controlled devices, usually recognizable by the display. Whether a device is suitable or not can be tested very easily:"Turn on the device, then unplug it and plug it back in after 10 seconds. If the dehumidifier resumes operation automatically with unchanged settings, it is also compatible with this plug. If it goes into standby and needs to be restarted, the dryer is not suitable. The plug itself does exactly the same thing. It provides or interrupts power." Application:"To completely leave the humidity control to the hygrostat plug, the connected dehumidifier must be set to maximum operation, i.e., continuous operation (in some dehumidifiers also recognizable as "Continuous" or "CO"). In this position, the devices ignore the measured room humidity and run whenever the hygrostat plug provides power. Thus, the humidity is measured at the plug, not in the device."2 year guaranteeShipping costs for 1 item: Fr. 10.- (Based on B-Post, further shipping options can be viewed in the shopping cart) Technical data   Voltage: 220-240 V / 50Hzcurrent load max.: 10AMesssensor : 103AT, C10-M53RAmbient temperature: 0 – +50 °CAmbient humidity: 5 – 95% r.H.Selectable target humidity: 30 – 90% r.H.
