In this connection line, there are copper tubes with refrigerant as well as the water hose, which directs the condensate from the interior to the outside (where it is misted with ventilation). If you want to run or extend the line through a wall, the outdoor unit must be disconnected from the line. This process is feasible with some technical understanding (instructions included in the delivery). However, in case of doubt, we recommend consulting a climate specialist, as improper work can lead to refrigerant leakage. Before disconnecting the outdoor unit, the device should be in operation for a few minutes to build up pressure in the line and ensure that the check valves close properly during disconnection. If you have any questions or uncertainties, we are happy to provide information.
Important
The latest Ulisse devices use refrigerant R32 (propane). If you want to extend the lines for this version, you must use the R32 line; otherwise, use the R410A. The refrigerants are NOT compatible with each other. Therefore, please check the nameplate of the air conditioning unit to see which refrigerant you need. A return of opened line packages is NOT possible.
