The width or nature of the joint gap does not matter, as it is not part of the sealing system. Even wider joints result in a good efficiency, as the sealing system is designed to be flexibly used up to a joint width of 35 mm. The elastic rubber seals have a very good recovery value and adapt optimally to unevenness of the floor and the wall.
Furthermore, the nozzle features specially beveled clamping tabs that do not compact mortar residues when inserting into the joint, but rather displace them sideways. The rounding results in low resistance when inserting the nozzle.
