Description
Proven UV dye for pipe break detection, available in various colors. This dispersion is water-dilutable. In the visible wavelength range, it leaves virtually no detectable traces, whereas when exposed to UV light, it glows intensely.
The product is particularly well suited for leak tests on water-bearing surfaces of flat roofs or for checking drains and downpipes. At its exit points, the fluorescent substance can be detected and made visible under UV light.
Further applications can be found in non-destructive testing (NDT) as well as in leak detection, when capillarity is of secondary importance and no visible traces of the UV tracer should remain.
