Description
This moisture meter is equipped with robust steel measuring pins that ensure a reliable connection to the test material, thus providing precise measurement results for wood moisture measurement of cut and firewood, as well as for material moisture measurement of soft building materials such as gypsum or plaster.
The reading of the moisture values is facilitated by a clear bar scale and the additional direct display of the moisture volume in absolute percentage figures. Two separate scale ranges for wood and building materials increase measurement accuracy.
"For wood moisture measurement, a calibration curve is stored in the device, corresponding to the average of the relevant wood species in Europe at a wood temperature of 20 °C. This means that no further settings are required for a quick determination of the wood moisture content."
A switch between wood moisture and construction moisture mode is not necessary, as the measurement values can be read on two parallel displayed scale ranges for the respective material. To check the battery status and device function, a reference adapter is integrated into the protective cap of the device. The measuring pins can be easily unscrewed and replaced if necessary.
