This compact pocket-sized pH meter proves to be a versatile tool suitable for both hobbyists and professional applications. It is ideal for aquarium and plant enthusiasts as well as pool owners, but also for quality control in the beverage and food industry or for quick and reliable water testing.
In particular, in natural ponds, which have become increasingly popular in recent years, regular monitoring of the pH level allows for the avoidance of unexpected changes. Due to rain or the refilling with tap water, the pH level can easily shift into the acidic or basic range, which can negatively affect the health of the fish.
"In swimming pools and private swimming pools, monitoring the pH level is essential to protect the health of bathers and to extend the lifespan of pool materials."
Thanks to the automatic temperature compensation and auto-calibration, the measuring device allows for a quick and precise determination of the pH value in the range of 0 to 14 at temperatures between 0 and 50 °C.
The device features a factory 3-point calibration that can be easily repeated if necessary. The measurements are displayed on a clearly readable two-line display, which simultaneously shows the pH value and the water temperature. The replaceable pH electrode and the water temperature sensor are protected by a protective cap, and a hold function makes it easier to read the measurements. An automatic shut-off contributes to energy savings.
Advantages at a Glance
• Two-line display for simultaneous display of pH value and water temperature
• Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for accurate measurements at different temperatures of the liquids to be tested.
• Factory 3-point calibration
• Auto-calibration for pH 4.01/7.00/10.01
• Easy to replace pH electrode
• Automatic switch-off
• Message retention function
• Optimal price-performance ratio
• Including pH buffer solution set (4.01/7.00/10.01) and protective cap
Note: The device is already factory calibrated using a high-concentration salt solution. This often leads to the formation of salt crystals on the diaphragm electrode (fiber bundle) in practice later on. The visible residues are completely normal for pH measuring electrodes of this type.
"They are harmless to the electrode, can be easily rinsed off with water, and therefore do not constitute a quality defect."
