With this compact clamp, you are always on the particularly safe side when measuring alternating current up to 750 volts. Because with the clamp, you encircle the electrical conductor, and the measuring device detects contactlessly by measuring the electromagnetic field whether voltage is present. Through this 'galvanic isolation', you avoid any direct contact with the circuit being measured, making it possible to conduct tests on live systems.
