With the function switch, the device can be set to 1/2 or 1/1 heating power or used only as a fan. A room thermostat maintains the temperature at the set value. When the desired temperature is reached, the heating turns off while the fan continues to run for a constant circulation of the room air.
These heaters are excellently suited for heating construction sites, garages, workshops, storage rooms, retail spaces, or even for private hobby rooms and many other applications.
What does the automatic reset function bring?
If a heater measures a temperature that is too high in the control system, an overheating protection is triggered. In this case, the ventilation continues to run, but the heating operation is interrupted. In cheaper models, this protection must be released mechanically. Normally, this is done by pressing the release switch ("Reset" switch) with a pointed object. In this heater, the protection automatically resets as soon as the measured temperature in the control system returns to the normal level. Since not all users are aware of this process, the automatic reset function is a significant advantage in practice.
