The professional, large drying cabinet for intensive use. It is built to a very high standard and is ideal for large drying quantities. For example, for the quick drying of work clothes, firefighting gear, laundry in the gastronomy and hotel sector, but also in private households that appreciate the comfort of faster laundry drying. The capacity is approximately 6 kg of laundry and dries it in about one hour. This corresponds to roughly one washing machine load per hour.
Unlike a conventional tumble dryer, cabinet dryers do not cause wear and tear on textiles. The laundry is gently permeated by a stream of air and dries similarly to how it would outside in the garden. The dry air is distributed laterally through several exhaust openings inside the cabinet, ensuring that the laundry dries evenly.
The humid air condenses on a cooling element (similar to a dehumidifier or Secomat) and is discharged through a hose. The dehumidification element is located in the upper part of the cabinet, so that the extracted water can be easily directed to a lower drain or a sink. The included hose is 3m long. Due to its high dehumidification power, the FT120VP does not have a condensate tank, unlike the smaller version "Ecodryer 2.0."
The drying process takes place autonomously inside the cabinet. A supply of fresh air is not required. This also means that no moisture is released into the room air, which is particularly advantageous in cooler basements (no odor and mold formation due to excessive room humidity).
The operation itself is remarkably simple: with the press of a button, you can choose between damp and cupboard dry. The preset, recommended values can be changed at any time to personal preferences. When the laundry is dry, the device turns off. The operating noise is noticeable at 55 dB(A), but in a lockable room, it is not further disturbing. The control panel is available in various languages, including German, French, English, and the Nordic languages.
The interior inventory of the wardrobe dryer consists of 4 swing-out forks, each with 5 rods, which can be directly hung with laundry or hangers. Additional items for drying, such as shoes, ski boots, etc., can be placed on the bottom plate. If the wardrobe is used exclusively for drying jackets and coats, the lower three holders can theoretically be cut off, so that only the top holder can be hung with hangers.

The drying cabinets differ from earlier models in that they do not rely on conventional resistance heating, but rather on the latest heat pump principle. This reduces operating costs compared to earlier models by 50% or more. Only the waste heat from the compressor is used for the internal temperature regulation of the cabinet. With this technology, consumption has been reduced to 0.35 kWh per kg of laundry. A drying process takes about 1 hour, depending on the load and moisture content of the laundry.
Maintenance Drying Cabinet
Above the laundry is the air filter, which keeps the air inside the cabinet clean during drying. This filter is inserted and can be easily removed for cleaning. It consists of a frame and a filter mesh with high cleaning efficiency. The filter is reusable.

The drying cabinet is delivered as standard without a power cable. It operates on high voltage (400V / 3 phases / 2300W) and should be professionally connected directly by an electrician or equipped with a suitable cable/plug.
The Ecodryer is manufactured by the market-leading factory in Scandinavia, which also produces for Miele and Electrolux, among others. It is produced to order and imported, with a delivery time of approximately 4-5 weeks. It is delivered in two parts or on two pallets.
