The "Royal 12" is part of the latest series of Dryfix dehumidifiers. In addition to its attractive design, the Royal 12 impresses with a whisper-quiet operating noise, which allows for use not only in damp basements but also in living rooms, bedrooms, and offices.
Thanks to the latest technology, it is highly efficient and economical. The refrigerant R290 has minimal environmental impact. Thus, the "Global Warming Potential (GWP)" is an incredible value of 3, which corresponds to a reduction of 99.85% compared to comparable models from previous generations!

Setting target moisture: with each button press, the desired target humidity can be set, which is the value that the device should maintain in the room. If the measured humidity in the room is higher, the operation continues. If the humidity is correct, the device pauses, stopping not only the compressor but also the fan. This is an important point regarding energy consumption and distinguishes the "Royal" from many commercially available products on the market. The desired target humidity can be selected in 5% increments within the range of 30 - 80% relative humidity. To protect a room from mold and odors, a value of about 60% is sufficient, so the ideal setting is 55 or 60%. Lower values do not provide any additional benefit unless one is drying laundry or dealing with water damage.

Setting mode: There are three drying options available.
a) Continuous operation (for laundry/water damage)
b) Room monitoring mode, when the humidity should not exceed a certain value
c) Night mode, in which the ventilation is set to low and the lighting is minimized.

Setting Ventilation: With each button press, you can choose between strong and weak ventilation. At the weak fan setting, the operation is very quiet; at the stronger fan setting, the air volume increases, which is especially advantageous in larger rooms. The "Royal12" draws in the humid room air from the back of the device, where it is cleaned by a removable coarse dust filter. The filter can be easily removed and cleaned under water. It does not need to be replaced. The dry air is expelled from the top of the device.

Timer: "With the timer, the operation can either be limited in time from "now" (1-12 hours) or started at a point in time 1-12 hours in the future, for example, when one wants to start the operation at the low tariff."

Memory function: "If you want to run the device at the same times every day (for example, during the low tariff), you can do this with a standard timer. The 'Royal12' remembers the last setting and returns with unchanged settings after a power interruption."

Key lock: Prevents unauthorized persons (e.g. children) from playing with the device and changing the settings.
Additional Features
• 3-color display: At the front, there is a light that indicates with three colors whether the air is very dry, okay, or too humid. A quick glance at the device is enough to quickly inform oneself about the condition of the air.
• Mobile on wheels: Even though the "Royal12" at 11kg belongs to the lightweight category among dehumidifiers, it is equipped with four wheels, making it easy to move around the room. Additionally, there is a grip recess on the back, allowing the dehumidifier to be carried effortlessly.
• "Dryfix Intelligence": The software we developed for particularly economical stop-and-go operation. It avoids frequent restarting of the compressor, thus saving a lot of electricity. The software also checks whether the room temperature is unsuitable for operation, either too cold or too warm, and interrupts operation if necessary.
WIFI controlWIFI control:In addition to the operation on the device itself, all models of the "Royal" series are equipped with WIFI control. The app used for this, "Smart Life," can be downloaded for free for iOS and Android.

The "Smart Life" is very simple and clear. It has been around for a variety of household appliances for some time and is therefore well developed and tested. To use the app, the dehumidifier only needs to connect to the Wi-Fi in the house. Setting up the app only takes a few minutes. Once set up, you can monitor, regulate, and also query real-time information about the current humidity in the room from anywhere in the world via your phone. This is very convenient while traveling abroad as well as for use in vacation homes.
