How does it work?

The heart of the evaporative cooling system is the cooling pad: Here, the water evaporates, and the air flowing through the pad is cooled. Evaporative cooling pads are made from grooved cellulose plates that are glued together. The material is chemically treated with special components to prevent rot and ensure a long lifespan and easy maintenance.
 
 
Evaporative cooling and humidity

A certain volume of air at a specific temperature and pressure can absorb and hold a certain amount of water vapor. When this volume of air contains 50% of the moisture it is capable of holding in total, we refer to it as 50% relative humidity.
