Description
A handy electric heater with very good heat efficiency thanks to the ceramic heating element. This allows the heater to reach the desired heating output with a short warm-up time. At the high heating level of 2000 W, the blown air is heated to more than 60 °C above room temperature. The temperature controller has a wide range starting from 0 °C. The BGP can thus also be used as a frost guard when the room temperature needs to be kept just above freezing.
The ventilation is rather mild at about 120 m³/h compared to other electric heaters in this category; however, the BGP is hardly audible in terms of operating noise thanks to the quiet radial fan. This model is therefore suitable not only for use in construction and industry but also for heating quiet areas such as waiting rooms, living rooms, or simply for keeping your feet warm under the office desk.
The housing is made of a black, fireproof plastic and a metal rack with a practical carrying handle. The fan head can be rotated vertically in a large radius up to 90°, allowing the warm air to be directed precisely to the desired location. With the help of two standard hooks, the device can even be hung on a wall (hooks not included in the delivery).
The heater has two rotary controls at the top of the housing:
• left step controller: only ventilation / 1200 W / 2000 W
• right: stepless thermostat for regulating the desired temperature
Additionally, there is an operating light located between the two controls that indicates when the heating operation is running.
"If the temperature is correct, the heating pauses (the ventilation also stops). If the temperature falls below the set value, the operation starts automatically."
The adjustable range of the temperature controller is from 0° to 85°C, with an overheating protection that interrupts the heating operation at a room temperature of just over 40°C.
Due to the high exhaust temperature, the device should not be placed within reach of children or pets, although the solid front grill of this model poses significantly less risk of burns than similar fan heaters, which only have a metal grid for air exhaust.
