In principle, the air is passed through a continuously rotating sorption rotor, which is a wheel made of a very moisture-absorbent material. The moisture absorbed by the rotor is expelled from the device by a heated (PTC heating) air stream flowing in the opposite direction (= regeneration air) and must be vented out of the room. This setup is usually used for drying water damage in cavities, such as water damage under bathtubs or in water pits. The ASE400 demonstrates high reliability in the drying of industrial spaces as well as public and water management facilities. Unlike condensation dryers, adsorbers have a more or less constant dehumidification performance down to well below freezing point.
