Roth-Kippe Roth-Kippe Bora 408 Room Air Clothes Dryer
The 408 is the ideal solution for households looking for a gentle and energy-efficient alternative to the tumble dryer. It effortlessly handles the drying process of two to three loads of laundry per day, making it perfectly suited to the needs of smaller households. Please note that the model offered here does not have a switchable heating function. As the successor to the proven "Bora 208", the 408 continues to impress with its modern design and compact dimensions, which are identical to its predecessor. However, it has been extensively revised and brought up to date technically. The new, environmentally friendly refrigerant "R32" ensures improved energy efficiency. The ventilation can now be adjusted in three stages, significantly reducing the noise level at the lower fan settings. Additionally, the 408 features a user-friendly touchscreen control and the option for Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for comfortable control and monitoring. Operation The Bora features a clear, digital touchscreen control panel that can be set to various languages (German, French, Italian, English). Drying programs:By pressing a button, the drying program can be started. The dehumidifier runs until the laundry is dry and then automatically switches off. The pre-programmed target humidity value of 40% is suitable in most cases, but can otherwise be increased or decreased to any humidity value according to personal preference. Logically, the device operates until it can assume that the laundry is dry. Then it switches off. After a few minutes, it measures again with 1-3 control cycles using pure recirculated air to check whether the humidity value has increased too much, indicating that the laundry may not be completely dry yet. If so, the Bora dries again; if not, it goes into standby. This follow-up check can optimize the drying result, especially in drying rooms with only a small amount of laundry or with garments of varying thickness. Furthermore, the dryer features a general room monitoring system to prevent mold and odors in the basement. The device automatically activates whenever the room humidity exceeds the threshold for mold and odor formation of 60% relative humidity. This moisture level can also be adjusted as desired. Unlike the laundry drying programs, the dryer does not turn off completely in this mode, but only pauses as long as the humidity is appropriate. If the humidity rises again, the drying operation will also resume. Specifically at Bora: The start time can be postponed if, for example, you only want to dry at the low tariff. There are also blocking times possible, during which the device never runs. Furthermore, there is the option for the dryer to automatically switch to room monitoring mode after the laundry drying is completed. Supplementary heating ("H" models):For a small additional charge, the device is also available as "Bora 408 H". The switchable 1000 W heater accelerates the drying of laundry in the cold season because warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. When the heater is switched on, it heats until a room temperature of 18°C is reached. Above 18°C, the heater is inactive, even if it is switched on. Therefore, the version with heating only provides an advantage in rooms that fall below 18°C during the cold season. Blower and fan stages:The blower is a radial blower, which is placed in the upper area of the housing. It disperses relatively widely, but loses power in depth (in long drying rooms). The Bora is therefore particularly suitable for shorter to medium laundry hanging of up to about 5 m in length, which can certainly have a width of 2 m. The warm air stream should blow through the laundry below the clotheslines, so that it can sway in the wind. This causes the moisture to be released more quickly into the room air and can be captured by the dryer. The optimal mounting height of the Boras should therefore be slightly below the lines, which usually means about 1.70 m from the top edge of the device.Selectable fan speeds: Silent = Gentle / Quiet, consumption and drying time increase slightly. ECO = Consumption and drying speed are within the average range of the specified performance data. Fast = High air throughput for quick, efficient drying. The operating noise is clearly noticeable. Air louvers: The front of the housing is fixed, meaning the direction of the airflow or the dispersion cannot be changed. Direct hose connection:The water drained from the laundry flows out through a hose connection at the bottom of the housing. The device does not have a built-in pump, so the hose must have a continuous slope to the drain. If no drain is available, the water can of course also be easily collected in a bucket placed under the device. We offer suitable inlet pipes and buckets for all Bora models in our range if needed.Air filter:The humid room air is drawn in at the lower part of the front. An industrial, durable filter mat is inserted in a fold-out door at the bottom. It cleans the air of coarse dust and lint, keeping the inside of the device clean. Should the material of the filter ever become exhausted, suitable replacement filter mats can be ordered from us at any time. With the new model, the hold and opening of the door have also been improved with magnets. WLAN: The WLAN connection allows you to display the BORA status via a browser on your smartphone, tablet, or PC. In addition, the WLAN connection enables you to access software updates. Of course, the operation can also be carried out as usual directly on the device without WLAN. Compact dimensions:The Bora is comparatively narrow and often fits into places in the drying room where other devices are too wide, for example between downpipes or electrical lines. Since all operation is done from the front, the Bora does not require any space on the sides or above. Swiss Control: "Its comfort control was designed by Roth-Kippe and is manufactured in Switzerland." Funny gadget: "Anyone who does not want to get used to the new operator panel can switch to the familiar design at the push of a button. The operator panel on the display then looks practically identical to the push buttons of the predecessor model." Ambient temperatureTechnically, the "Bora" dryers can be used down to 8°C. Please note that the drying time for all room air dryers increases significantly the colder the room is. For optimal drying speed, temperatures of 15°C and above are ideal. The declared drying performance was measured at a room temperature of 20°C. Scope of delivery and wall mounting The assembly is very simple, as with all tumble dryers:A support rail is fixed to the wall with 3 screws, and the Bora can then be easily hung. All necessary mounting materials are already included in the delivery:• the ready-to-plug-in device• Carrier rail with screws/anchors• Hose connection coupling• 2 m condensate drain hose• Operating instructions "An optional suitable inlet pipe with bucket is available if the water cannot be directly drained into a drain." Both the support rail and the two buffers supporting the wall in the lower area of the device are insulated with rubber to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the wall. Due to the high dehumidification performance, we recommend draining the condensate directly into the drain with the hose (hose is included in the delivery). If you wish to use a bucket, please ensure that it has sufficient capacity (min. 8 liters) to avoid overflow during drying. If wall mounting is not possible, you will find suitable chassis in our range to which the dryer can be mounted. Assembly service on request "Upon request, we will professionally install the dryer at your home within a radius of up to 120 km (Fr. 210.-), for further distances, price upon request." Calculate distanceImportant:- Sanitary (drainage) or electrical (230V socket) installations are not carried out by us and must be commissioned separately by an appropriate tradesman by you, if not already in place.- If your wall has internal insulation, we need to know this when placing the order, as the installation will be more complex. The stated installation prices refer to direct wall mounting, meaning directly on brick or concrete walls without insulation. Additional costs for installation on insulated walls will be charged based on effort."If no chassis is available, we recommend the suitable chassis from Roth-Kippe." All necessary mounting materials are already included in the delivery:• the ready-to-plug-in device• Carrier rail with screws/anchors• Hose connection coupling• 2 m condensate drain hose• Operating instructions "An optional suitable inlet pipe with bucket is available if the water cannot be directly drained into a drain." Both the support rail and the two buffers supporting the wall in the lower area of the device are insulated with rubber to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the wall. Due to the high dehumidification performance, we recommend draining the condensate directly into the drain with the hose (hose is included in the delivery). If you wish to use a bucket, please ensure that it has sufficient capacity (min. 8 liters) to avoid overflow during the drying process. If wall mounting is not possible, you will find suitable chassis in our range to which the dryer can be mounted. Roth-Kippe Roth-Kippe Bora 410H Room Air Clothes Dryer
The 410H is the ideal solution for family households with children looking for a gentle and energy-efficient alternative to the tumble dryer. It effortlessly handles the drying process of three to four loads of laundry per day, making it perfectly suited to the needs of larger families. The model offered here features an optional heating function that further accelerates the drying process when needed. As the successor to the proven "Bora 210H", the 410H impresses with its modern design and compact dimensions, which are identical to its predecessor. However, it has been extensively revised and brought up to date technically. The new, environmentally friendly refrigerant "R32" ensures improved energy efficiency. The ventilation can now be regulated in three stages, significantly reducing the noise level at the lower fan settings. In addition, the 410H features a user-friendly touchscreen control and the option for Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for comfortable control and monitoring. Especially in drying rooms with only a small amount of laundry or with garments of varying thickness, this follow-up check can optimize the drying result. Furthermore, the dryer features a general room monitoring system to prevent mold and odors in the basement. The device automatically activates whenever the room humidity exceeds the threshold for mold and odor formation of 60% relative humidity. This humidity level can also be adjusted as needed. Supplementary heating ("H" models):The switchable 1000 W heater accelerates laundry drying in the cold season because warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. It spreads relatively wide, but loses power in depth (in long drying rooms). The Bora is therefore particularly suitable for shorter to medium laundry hanging of up to about 5 m in length, which can certainly have a width of 2 m. The warm air stream should blow through the laundry below the clotheslines, so that it can sway in the wind. This causes the moisture to be released to the room air more quickly and can be captured by the dryer. All necessary mounting materials are already included in the delivery:• the ready-to-plug-in device• Carrier rail with screws/anchors• Hose connection coupling• 2 m condensate drain hose• Operating instructions "An optional suitable inlet pipe with bucket is available if the water cannot be directly drained into a drain." Krüger Krüger Secomat 2 azure blue room air clothes dryer
The new Secomat2 from Krüger impresses with its intuitive operation and its award-winning design, which has been honored with the prestigious "Reddot" award. As the most compact version of the series, the Secomat2 offers a significantly higher drying performance than its predecessor, the Secomat75. It effortlessly handles the drying process of about two loads of laundry per day. The Secomat2 is available in elegant anthracite as well as exclusively from us in stylish azure blue. Operation The basic idea of the new generation is that the dryer only needs to be turned on once. After that, the highly developed software and various sensors take over the operation fully automatically. These functions can be selected at the push of a button:Only drying laundry: In this mode, the Secomat4 dries the laundry until it is completely dry. If there is no laundry in the room or if it is already dry, the device automatically pauses.Drying laundry and room monitoring: Here, the Secomat4 first dries the laundry. As soon as it is dry or no laundry is hanging in the room, it automatically switches to room monitoring mode. In this mode, the room air humidity is kept consistently below 60% r.H. to prevent odors and mold formation.Only room monitoring: This mode allows the use of the Secomat4 as a pure room dehumidifier, independent of laundry drying. Here, too, the room air humidity is kept below 60% r.H. to ensure an optimal room climate. Wi-Fi and app "Anyone who wants to monitor or change the dryer and its operation can easily do so via the well-developed app on their phone. For this, the device must be within the range of a Wi-Fi network in the house." Sensors Like most dehumidifiers on the market, the new Secomat devices are also equipped with moisture sensors. These measure the room humidity and provide information about the drying process of the laundry. Furthermore, they control the ventilation strength: while very wet laundry releases sufficient moisture even at a low ventilation level, the ventilation is increased as the laundry dries. This is to optimally blow out the residual moisture from the laundry and to keep the laundry as smooth as possible in the wind.Another sensor is an optical sensor. This sensor remembers the room in an empty state and thus detects when laundry is hanging. When laundry is detected, the device switches to the drying mode. It can distinguish whether the items are statically hung objects (= laundry) or moving objects such as people or animals. Their movement does not trigger the drying process. Airway and filter The humid room air is drawn in at the front in the lower area, dried, and then blown back into the room at high speed from the upper area. An air filter cleans the drawn-in air of dirt and fine dust. It is washable and has been significantly improved compared to previous generations. It is now integrated into a solid folding door and is easy to remove. Water drainage The drained water is discharged through a hose connection. The connection is located on the bottom of the device near the wall, so that the water runs practically vertically into a siphon mounted below via a hose. With an angle coupling, the water can also be diverted sideways. Montage The wall mounting is relatively easy and quick with little craftsmanship. A support rail is fixed to the wall with three screws, and the dryer can then be hung in this support rail. By the way, the support rail of the penultimate generation is compatible, so no new holes need to be drilled. All necessary mounting materials such as rail, screws, dowels, and hose coupling are included in the delivery. 8 liters) to avoid overflow during the drying process. If wall mounting is not possible, you will find suitable chassis in our range to which the dryer can be mounted. Ecodryer Ecodryer 2.0 Drying Cabinet, Bandung left
What can be found in almost every household in the far north is hardly known in our region. The drying cabinet is space-saving and dries clothes, shoes, gloves, etc. quickly and gently. The capacity corresponds to approximately a 16m long clothesline or about 5 kg of laundry. The door hinge on this model is on the left and the handle is accordingly on the right.Gentle dryingUnlike a conventional tumbler, cabinet dryers do not cause wear and tear on textiles. The Ecodryer 2.0 is built on the latest heat pump technology, making it energy-efficient. A stream of warm air is regularly distributed inside the cabinet from the back wall through dozens of exhaust holes, ensuring that the laundry dries evenly. The maximum internal temperature is 55°C, allowing even more delicate garments to be dried.drying processThe drying process itself is quite simple: at the push of a button, you can choose between damp ironing and cupboard dry. The preset recommended values can be changed at any time to personal preferences. When the laundry is dry, the device switches off. The operating noise of the drying cabinet is only 52 dB(A) (comparable to a range hood), making it significantly quieter than room air dryers. It is therefore also suitable for use in apartments and noise-sensitive basement environments. The operating language can be selected according to personal preference. In addition to the Nordic languages, operation is also available in German, French, and English by default. The interior inventory of the cabinet dryer consists of 3 pull-out fork sliders, each with 10 rods, which can be directly hung with laundry or hangers. When longer garments are hung on the hanger, the two lower shelves can simply be folded up, so that half or the entire interior height remains free. Additional items for drying, such as shoes, ski boots, etc., can be placed on the bottom plate. The extracted water is drained similarly to a dehumidifier or Secomat. It can either be collected in a simply removable 2-liter bucket or drained directly through a hose connection. This ensures that hardly any moisture enters the room air. An integrated pump also allows for drainage into higher drainage lines up to about 1.2m from the floor. The bucket is equipped with a float that automatically interrupts operation when full.Economical operationThe "Ecodryer" drying cabinets differ from previous models in that they are not based on energy-intensive resistance heating, but on an economical heat pump principle. This reduces operating costs compared to earlier models by 70%. Only the waste heat from the compressor is used to heat the interior of the cabinet. A thermostat monitors the interior temperature. If it rises above 55°C, a second fan is activated, which immediately regulates the interior temperature as needed. With this technology, consumption has been reduced to 0.28 kWh per kg of laundry. A drying process takes approximately 1.5-3 hours, depending on the load and moisture content of the laundry.maintenanceUnder the easily removable floor plate lies the air filter, which must be cleaned regularly. Otherwise, the device is maintenance-free. Also very well thought out is the handling in the unlikely event of a technical problem: the entire technology is inserted under the floor plate as a cassette and can be pulled out for repair work or replacement without having to move or transport the cabinet itself. You can exclusively obtain the Ecodryer 2.0 in Switzerland from us. Roth-Kippe Roth-Kippe Bora 420 Room Air Clothes Dryer
The 420 is the most powerful dryer in the Bora series and has been specifically designed for intensive use in multi-family homes. With a drying time of just over three hours for two washing machine loads, depending on the selected fan speed, it is ideal for high-traffic drying rooms. Please note that this model does not have an adjustable heating function. As the successor to the proven "Bora 320", the 420 impresses with its modern design and compact dimensions, which are identical to its predecessor. However, it has been extensively revised and brought up to date technically. The new, environmentally friendly refrigerant "R32" ensures improved energy efficiency. The ventilation can now be regulated in three stages, significantly reducing the noise level at the lower fan settings. Additionally, the 420 features a user-friendly touchscreen control and the option for Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for comfortable control and monitoring. This moisture level can also be adjusted as needed. Supplementary heating ("H" models):For a small additional charge, the device is also available as "Bora 420 H". The switchable 1000 W heater accelerates the drying of laundry in the cold season because warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. When the heater is switched on, it heats until a room temperature of 18°C is reached. Above 18°C, the heater is inactive, even if it is switched on. Therefore, the version with a heater only provides an advantage in rooms that fall below 18°C during the cold season. Blower and fan stages:The blower is a radial blower, which is placed in the upper area of the housing. It spreads relatively wide, but loses power in depth (in long drying rooms). Lübra Lübra Secotec 1700 Room Air Clothes Dryer
The Lübra SecoTec 1700 dryer - from the Topten list is a high-quality room air dryer and is suitable for drying rooms shared by 2-4 parties. Thanks to the new double radial fan, it distributes the 1450m³/h dry air with good pressure even in larger rooms and is acoustically noticeably quieter than dryers with comparable dehumidification performance.Easy operation with the Lübra control• Function switch: here you can choose whether the device should only dry the laundry and then automatically turn off, or whether it should maintain the room at a constant target humidity. In this mode, the dryer runs whenever the room humidity is higher than the set desired humidity; otherwise, dehumidification and the fan pause.• Hygrostat-Rad: Rotary switch, with which the desired target humidity can be easily adjusted.• Start button: If no changes are to be made to the settings, operation can be started (or stopped) simply by pressing the start button. This is an easily understandable solution, especially in drying rooms for multiple parties. A Plexiglas cover is also available upon request, which prevents access to the function dial and hygrometer, so that the settings cannot be changed. Ambient temperatureTechnically, the Secotec dryers can be used down to 5°C. Please note that the drying time for all room air dryers increases significantly the colder the room is. Krüger Krüger Secomat 4 anthracite room air clothes dryer
The new "Secomat4" from Krüger impresses with very simple operation and thoughtful functionality. The design has been modernized and even awarded the "Reddot" award. The device is suitable for single-family homes with increased drying frequency or multi-family homes with low drying needs. It achieves a drying performance of about 3 washing machine loads per day. Available in anthracite, and additionally in azure blue with us. service The basic idea of the new generation is that the dryer only needs to be turned on once. Subsequently, the highly developed software and various sensors take over the operation fully automatically. These functions can be selected at the push of a button:• Only dry laundry: The drying process continues until the laundry is dry. If there is no laundry or if it is dry, the device pauses.• Drying laundry and room monitoring: If laundry is hung, it will be dried. If the laundry is dry or no laundry is hung, the Secomat switches to general room monitoring. The humidity in the room is kept just below the threshold of 60% relative humidity to prevent odors and mold formation.• Only room monitoring: the device can also be used solely as a room dehumidifier, without drying laundry. The humidity in the room is kept just below the threshold of 60% relative humidity to prevent odors and mold formation. Wi-Fi and app "Anyone who wants to monitor or change the dryer and its operation can easily do so via the well-developed app on their mobile phone. For this, the device must be within the range of a WLAN in the house." Sensors Like most dehumidifiers on the market, the new Secomat models are also equipped with humidity sensors. These measure the room humidity and provide information about the drying process of the laundry. Furthermore, they control the ventilation strength: while very wet laundry releases sufficient moisture even at a low ventilation level, the ventilation is increased as the laundry dries. This is to optimally blow out any remaining moisture from the laundry and to keep the laundry as smooth as possible in the wind.Another sensor is an optical sensor. This sensor remembers the room in an empty state and thus detects when laundry is hanging. When laundry is detected, the device switches to the drying mode. It can differentiate whether the items are statically hung objects (= laundry) or moving objects such as people or animals. The connection is located in the bottom of the device near the wall, so that the water runs almost vertically through a hose into a siphon mounted below. With an angle coupling, the water can also be diverted sideways. Assembly The wall mounting is relatively easy and quick with little craftsmanship. Krüger Krüger Secomat 4 azure blue room air clothes dryer
The new Secomat4 from Krüger impresses with its intuitive operation and well-thought-out functionality. Its modern design, which has been awarded the prestigious "Reddot" award, makes it a real eye-catcher. Designed for single-family homes with higher drying needs or multi-family homes with lower needs, it offers a drying capacity of about three washing machine loads per day. Available in elegant anthracite and exclusively with us also in stylish azure blue.Operation The operation of the Secomat4 is incredibly simple: Once switched on, the advanced software in combination with various sensors takes over the fully automatic operation. At the push of a button, you can choose between three operating modes: Only drying laundry: In this mode, the Secomat4 dries the laundry until it is completely dry. For this, the device must be within the range of a Wi-Fi network in the house." Sensors Like most dehumidifiers on the market, the new Secomat models are also equipped with humidity sensors. Ecodryer Ecodryer FT120VP Drying Cabinet
The professional, large drying cabinet for intensive use. It is built to a very high standard and is ideal for large drying quantities. For example, for the quick drying of work clothes, firefighting gear, laundry in the gastronomy and hotel sector, but also in private households that appreciate the comfort of faster laundry drying. The capacity is approximately 6 kg of laundry and dries it in about one hour. This corresponds to roughly one washing machine load per hour.Unlike a conventional tumble dryer, cabinet dryers do not cause wear and tear on textiles. The laundry is gently permeated by a stream of air and dries similarly to how it would outside in the garden. The dry air is distributed laterally through several exhaust openings inside the cabinet, ensuring that the laundry dries evenly. The humid air condenses on a cooling element (similar to a dehumidifier or Secomat) and is discharged through a hose. The dehumidification element is located in the upper part of the cabinet, so that the extracted water can be easily directed to a lower drain or a sink. The included hose is 3m long. Due to its high dehumidification power, the FT120VP does not have a condensate tank, unlike the smaller version "Ecodryer 2.0."The drying process takes place autonomously inside the cabinet. A supply of fresh air is not required. This also means that no moisture is released into the room air, which is particularly advantageous in cooler basements (no odor and mold formation due to excessive room humidity). The operation itself is remarkably simple: with the press of a button, you can choose between damp and cupboard dry. The preset, recommended values can be changed at any time to personal preferences. When the laundry is dry, the device turns off. The operating noise is noticeable at 55 dB(A), but in a lockable room, it is not further disturbing. The control panel is available in various languages, including German, French, English, and the Nordic languages. The interior inventory of the wardrobe dryer consists of 4 swing-out forks, each with 5 rods, which can be directly hung with laundry or hangers. Additional items for drying, such as shoes, ski boots, etc., can be placed on the bottom plate. If the wardrobe is used exclusively for drying jackets and coats, the lower three holders can theoretically be cut off, so that only the top holder can be hung with hangers.Newest generation! The drying cabinets differ from earlier models in that they do not rely on conventional resistance heating, but rather on the latest heat pump principle. This reduces operating costs compared to earlier models by 50% or more. Only the waste heat from the compressor is used for the internal temperature regulation of the cabinet. With this technology, consumption has been reduced to 0.35 kWh per kg of laundry. A drying process takes about 1 hour, depending on the load and moisture content of the laundry.Maintenance Drying CabinetAbove the laundry is the air filter, which keeps the air inside the cabinet clean during drying. This filter is inserted and can be easily removed for cleaning. It consists of a frame and a filter mesh with high cleaning efficiency. The filter is reusable. power connectionThe drying cabinet is delivered as standard without a power cable. It operates on high voltage (400V / 3 phases / 2300W) and should be professionally connected directly by an electrician or equipped with a suitable cable/plug. The Ecodryer is manufactured by the market-leading factory in Scandinavia, which also produces for Miele and Electrolux, among others. It is produced to order and imported, with a delivery time of approximately 4-5 weeks. It is delivered in two parts or on two pallets. At our AIRCENTER in Baden, you can view the cabinet in the exhibition and get advice if you have any questions.
