The Quadro X80 is a very powerful dehumidifier with a semi-professional design. The metal casing and internal components are solidly and durably built. Especially in a classic basement environment, the X80 is very efficient, but also economical in consumption.serviceThe target humidity can be set using the clear operator panel at the top of the device. Once the target humidity is reached, the dehumidification operation pauses, while only the ventilation continues to run to determine the current humidity. Various setting options are available to choose from:
continuous operation
The device operates continuously and ignores the measured room humidity. This setting is useful when you want to dry laundry or during the drying of water damage.
Operation with selected target moisture 30 – 90%
By pressing a button, any target humidity value between 30% and 90% can be selected (in 5% increments). To prevent mold and odors, it is sufficient to maintain a humidity of about 60%. The ideal setting is therefore 55 or 60%. For economical operation, the software has a tolerance of 6% so that the compressor does not start at too short intervals. The set target humidity value corresponds to the average +-3%. This means that the drying will continue until the set value is undershot by 3%. Subsequently, the operation pauses until the set value is exceeded by 3%. So, for example, if you choose 55%, the room humidity will fluctuate between a minimum of 52% and a maximum of 58%.
Comfort Mode
The "Dryfix-Intelligence" control automatically optimizes operation by taking into account the room temperature:
- If the ambient temperature is below 5° C, the compressor stops to prevent the device from freezing.
- If the ambient temperature is higher than 5°C and lower than 20°C, the device operates with a target humidity of 60%.
- If the ambient temperature is higher than 20°C and lower than 27°C, the device operates with a target humidity of 55%.
- If the ambient temperature is higher than 27° C, the device operates with a target humidity of 50%.
Grosser Tank
The rear-mounted condensate tank has a capacity of 6.5 liters and interrupts operation at full level with the integrated magnetic float. The front of the device immediately shows the fill level: blue light = operation running, red light = tank full or not properly inserted (operation is interrupted). Just above the tank is the hose connection, through which the condensate can also be directly drained into a drain (suitable hose: 10 mm inner diameter).
Two ventilation levels
The air throughput is strong. With the slats at the top of the device, the dry air can also be directed in a certain blowing direction. This is very useful, for example, if you want to blow air into a laundry rack or specifically onto a damp wall. Due to the strong ventilation, the operating noise is clearly noticeable (noise comparable to a steam extractor). With the push of a button, you can choose between low (quieter) or high ventilation. In this model, the compressor (= dehumidification) stops when the desired humidity level is reached, while the fan runs continuously to circulate the room air.

Cellar Moisture: Ideal for damp cellars, old walls, and laundry rooms. Eliminates musty odors, stops mold growth, decomposition of masonry, and much more.
Mobile Clothes Dryer: the device is also highly valued as a mobile clothes dryer. Close the windows and doors of the laundry room and the laundry will be dry overnight, depending on the size of the laundry room.

The dryer can be used over a wide temperature range from +7°C to +35°C, with the dehumidifying power decreasing in cooler environments, as is the case with all condensation dryers. Examples of dehumidification performance and consumption under various (constant) environmental conditions:

Option HEPA-Filter
In addition to the standard filter, which filters dust from the air, a HEPA filter can be ordered for the X80. This HEPA filter cleans the air with a purity rate of nearly 100% with every pass through the device. This means that even the finest particles such as pollen, fine dust, mold spores, and other tiny contaminants are captured. Also, viruses of all kinds (including Corona). The filter is therefore highly recommended, for example, in basements with mold infestations, but also during laundry drying, so that flying pollen is not blown onto the hanging laundry and contaminates it (e.g., in case of pollen allergy). The HEPA filter is considered consumable and cannot be washed. The price of Fr. 38.- includes the filter with holder. For reorders, the filter can be ordered alone without the holder at a reduced price of Fr. 29.-.
