Fast, precise moisture meter for detecting moisture in walls, ceilings, and floors. With this easy-to-use pocket-sized quick moisture indicator, you can quickly and reliably track your drying progress on construction sites or during the remediation of water damage. The electronic moisture indicator operates using a non-destructive measurement method based on the dielectric constant/high-frequency measurement principle. It has a spherical probe for detecting moisture and moisture distribution in solid building materials such as walls, ceilings, and floors (suitable for measuring wood only to a limited extent and as an indicator).
Application"First, the desired material is selected on an LCD display and saved by pressing a button. Then, the metal ball is held at a right angle to the material to be measured, and the measurement button is pressed briefly. The result is immediately visible."
Handling of a ball measuring electrode

It is important to have a 90° angle to the measurement object as well as the correct positioning of the hydrometer/electrode. To avoid any influence from the hand of the person measuring, the electrode may only be covered by the hand on the rear half during the measurement and control process. The front half (display/sphere) of the device must remain free.

Proper handling of the device: Always hold the device firmly at the lower part of the housing during measurements:

Incorrect handling of the device: When measuring, the hand affects the measurement field of the ball electrode and thereby alters the measurement value.
